<hi style=afpcap>Apart from producing some unusual aircraft designs, the Curtiss Aeroplane Company also manufactured some which were decidedly attractive. One such was the B-2 Condor with 12 being ordered in 1928 and 1929. These followed the prototype XB-2 purchased two years earlier. A unique feature of the B-2 was the sitting of a machine gunner located in the rear of each engine nacelle.</hi>
